“ I did not come to play with you hoes!
I came to slay bitch!”

It's body positivity for me!
We all have noticed the lovely duo ChloexHalle coming into their grown womanhood as they rightfully should in the last year. I enjoy seeing young women creating a narrative for themselves however they see fit. It’s so amazing to see. Recently, Ms. Chole Bailey has been open with her life and sharing her moments of being a beautiful black woman on social media. Unfortunately, the posting has caused a ruckus. Not all have been a fan of seeing the singer and songwriter being authentic and it’s been a full backlash due to her last post. To be honest, I didn’t see much negativity about the topic because my TL is not filled with HATERS but I digress. In all, It was enough for Chloe to address the matter on IGlive as if she needed to explain anything to you hoes!
Being comfortable in one’s skin is a long journey…
it can even be a lifetime for most. I struggle with body positivity and insecurity issues that I’m slowly working through hour by hour and day by day. Yes, even with me being a full grown woman I push myself “To talk to me nice”. It’s ok to admit you don’t fully love yourself but it’s not right to project those insecurities on another person who finds love within themselves. We all have our days, let’s try to support and give positive affirmations to people who are out there wanting to be an inspiration to all who lack self confidence and self love. We build confidence and find comfort in the best ways we see fit. Society is hard on women as it is so just add a 100lb weight pertaining to society judgement on black women. Allow women to express themselves freely. Allow women to build and show confidence freely. Allow women to love their bodies and personalities freely. It is of no concern to anyone how a woman chooses to speak her mind or express herself.
Please inform me on how that ruins your day?!
It honestly doesn’t. That’s the point that is being made here. We are all going through a metamorphosis. We are growing and evolving so much that it’s hard to keep up with ourselves. The best advice I give myself and I have no problem sharing this with you all for your personal use. Positive affirmations are the best to aid with self love. When anything is repeated to you consistently you begin to believe it. Whatever you want to believe about yourself, speak it into existence, just throw it out into the Universe as much as possible. We only have one mind, one body and one soul. It’s worth it to invest now, you will never regret it.
